Our Method

Brewster Karate is a traditional Martial Arts school teaching Goju Ryu Karate Do. Goju Ryu is hard and soft style originated and developed by Master Chojun Miyagi in Okinawa, Japan.                                            

Our dojo is closely following his teachings passed down by generations.

We offer classes for kids, teenagers and adults and our dojo is known for friendly family dynamics-based environment. Students are not only learning the beauty of karate, developing their coordination, balance, focus and concentration, but also respect for others, honor of traditions and true spirit of the art.

We thrive to emphasize responsibility that comes with learning martial arts. Our instructors guide each individual student to find their most effective way to use their own body in creating maximum power and speed until it becomes their muscle memory so they can imply it to any
parts of their life.
